The apartment is second floor and has an unusual layout. The accommodation comprises kitchen with fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave. The apartment also has a washing machine. Two bedrooms, one with double bed, doors to the terrace and en suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds. There is a second shower room. The lounge diner is double aspect and is segregated into a dining area with table and chairs and a lounge area with fireplace, sofas and UK freeview satellite TV. There are patio doors to two separate terraces, one facing south and the other to the south and west, both have lovely sea views and are perfectly placed for people watching over the street and viewpoint below. The second terrace also overlooks the communal pool and gardens.
The Verde Mar building is well maintained and served by a secure entryphone system and a lift. There are beautiful gardens and a good size pool for exclusive use of guests at Verde Mar. It is superbly situated straight across the road from Carabeillo beach and just a short level walk from the old town and the Balcón de Europa
The centre of Nerja is a 5 minute stroll away along Calle Carabeo whilst the Burriana Beach is accessed down some steps opposite.There are two balcony so you have wonderful south, east and west exposure - there is an elevator to the floor and just a few steps up to the apartment.

The nearest beaches to the apartment are the Carabeillo which the apartment overlooks, and the Calahonda beach which is 10 mins away. Nerja is lucky enough to have many beaches along its coast the largest being the Burriana beach (5 minutes walk away), which has lots of beach restaurants open all year round, and also pedalos etc in the summer months.
The nearest golf course is Baviera in Torre del Mar, just 20 minutes drive away. There is also the Añoreta Gold Course, just 30 minutes drive from Nerja. If you wish to go a bit further afield then from Malaga to Marbella and beyond have plenty of courses to choose from. All reachable via motorways.
Just an hour and a half drive (approx. 80kms) to the Sierra Nevada mountains that surround the city of Granada, you have an amazing ski resort, with all the facilities you require.
The nearest airport is Málaga, just approx. 45 mins drive away (60kms), there is a bus service from the airport to the bus station of Málaga and then you would catch the bus to Nerja, approx one hour. There are taxis from the airport, but it is wiser to pre-book with a confirmed price. Other airports are in Granada (110kms) and Almeria (120kms).
10 minutes drive from Nerja, you have the caves of Nerja, one of the most visited attractions in Spain. 6kms north of Nerja, is the historic village of Frigiliana. An hours drive away you have the famous city of Granada with the stunning Alhambra Palace. Further afield you can visit Marbella, Ronda, the cities of Cordoba or Sevilla, also there is Gibraltar. For children there is the zoo in Fuengirola, the dolphin park in Benalmadena and the crocodile park in Torremolino
There are many places to visit here in Andalucia, historic cities full of magnificent buildings, palaces, cathedrals etc. There are theme parks, water parks, animal parks, for adults and children alike. In Benalmadena there is Tivoli World, a theme park with rides for all ages. In Sevilla there is Isla Magica, a massive theme park with lots of attractions for all the family.
In Nerja itself, there are adventure companies that will take you out for th day, there are may shops, tapas bars, and great restaurants to try will you are here. In the summer time of an evening take a stroll along the Balcon de Europa, check out the street artists and the night market,
